The unique Wiidvlet is a modern, clinker-built flatboat with a traditional design. The clinker building methods results in an extra strong hull. The seams are double-welded and the plate thickness of the hull is 5 mm, creating an extremely solid flatboat.
Our sophisticated building and construction method acquired from many years of experience has resulted in a stable flatboat with excellent sailing properties and lots of cabin space. This yacht is highly manoeuvrable with excellent course stability. The long, pre-shaped box keel guarantees this.
The construction is solid and strong thanks to the double roof construction and practical with excellent visibility on all sides. Wide gangways with continuous bulwark, a rope fender with pudding fender and stainless steel railing all around give the boat a rugged look. The spacious cockpit is finished with teak on the spacious u-shaped counter and cockpit floor. The cockpit also has plenty of storage space: under the gangways, in the counters and under the cockpit floor.
A sophisticated construction creates a spacious master cabin in the forward deck. Here you will find cupboard space on both sides of the spacious, free-standing double berth.
The galley is equipped with a very spacious pantry and all modern conveniences. For even greater comfort, there are two wet cells, a spacious shower and separate toilet.
The salon is practically furnished with good visibility on all sides. The beautifully finished interior with ample solid, warmly coloured mahogany makes the flatboat an elegant sailing vessel.
It goes without saying that this rugged and contemporary flatboat is absolutely complete. But the Wiidvlet can also be custom-built to your specifications. Various options are available for additional fees. Instead of a double berth, for example, two single berths can be placed in the master cabin in a V shape in the foredeck. And if you prefer teak or ash panelling, this is also an option.
